GHQ meeting agrees on decisive action against terrorists
RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi and chaired a high-level meeting on national security on Friday. During the meeting it was agreed that decisive action would be taken against terrorists.

The meeting was attended by Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif and other senior military and civil officials. The premier was briefed by DG ISI Lt. General Rizwan Akhtar about the security situation in Pakistan and steps taken to eliminate terrorists.

The meeting also focused on the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan and the future course of action following the recent terrorist attack at a school in Peshawar that killed more than 140 persons, mostly schoolchildren.

Upon his arrival at GHQ, the Prime Minister was received by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar accompanied the Prime Minister.
