Roads to CM House sealed in Karachi
KARACHI: Roads leading to the CM House have been sealed in the city Thursday as the MQM observes a day or mourning against the killing of its party worker.

Businesses and schools remain closed in Karachi and other cities of Sindh as the MQM is holding its protest. Karachi has been placed on high-alert and additional police has been summoned to the CM House, while roads have been sealed with containers.

The MQM announced a peaceful strike after party worker Sohail Ahmed was found dead on Wednesday in Mauripur area. Ahmed was MQM's unit incharge of the Society neighbourhood.

In statement from London, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah was responsible for the extra-judicial killing of 36 party workers.
