PTI activists clash with sacked leader’s supporters in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists on Monday night clashed with supporters of MPA Javed Nasim, who was sacked from the party for opposing Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak last year.

The two groups resorted to throwing fists and punches at each other besides aerial firing outside Nasim’s residence.

The PTI workers have also staged a protest sit-in against the former party leader for allegedly supporting a Senate candidate belonging to a different party.

Nasim has already been served a show-cause notice under the political parties order in this regard.

The PTI leaders are reportedly trying to disperse the angry activists.

MPA Javed Nasim had opposed CM Khattak accusing him of paying no attention to Peshawar and attending the PTI sit-in in Islamabad. Nasim had also chanted ‘Go Khattak Go’ slogans during his protest demonstrations in 2014.
