Faysal Bank donates Rs10 million to SIUT
KARACHI: President and CEO of Faysal Bank Limited (FBL), Nauman Ansari, visited Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) where Dr. Adeeb-ul Hasan Rizvi and his team warmly received him.

Dr. Rizvi took Mr. Ansari to the Transplant, Pediatric Urology & Nephrology, Oncology and several other departments for orientation purposes and briefed him on the integrated healthcare services being extended absolutely free to the patients who come to SIUT from all corners of Pakistan.

On the occasion, Dr. Rizvi said, “The institute’s only challenge is its lack of access to those who cannot manage to come to them for the treatment due to limited resources. That’s why, they have started establishing diagnostic and dialysis centres in different places. At present, four centres in Karachi and one full-fledged unit in Sukkur have been put up for the patients’ ease. It is because of great organisations like Faysal Bank who help us achieve these objectives proficiently.”

Mr. Ansari aptly called the facility “a symbol of excellent care in urology and transplantation”, and added ‘Faysal Bank is very contented to be associated with such a remarkable institute, where patients receive their treatment with proper dignity”. Whilst meeting patients, he also met children who had undergone liver transplantation successfully.

Mr. Ansari profoundly appreciated Dr. Rizvi’s efforts for the welfare of the people. He donated a cheque of Rs10 million towards the expanding operational expenses of this state-of-the-art facility.

Head HR FBL, M. Merajuddin Ahmed was also present on this occasion.
FBL has been working closely with SIUT and many other trustworthy institutes in the country to ensure its contribution have a positive and sustainable impact on the community.
