Ijaz ready to visit Pakistan; asks for security

ISLAMABAD: The central character of memogate scandal, the US businessman Mansoor Ijaz has agreed to come to Pakistan and appear before the memogate commission, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

However, Ijaz has written a letter to the commission, requesting it to ensure security to him and to the data he would be in possession of when he arrives in Pakistan.

Mansoor Ijaz asked for a security 'that could satisfy me and my family'. He also touched matters relating to his visa in the letter.

According to sources, the memogate commission has sent letters to the concerned authorities to ensure provision of security to Hussain Haqqani and Mansoor Ijaz.
