US congress committee discusses Balochistan

WASHINGTON: Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has termed Balochistan an insurgency hit area, Geo News reported.

This he said in a meeting of United States (US) Congress Committee on Foreign Affairs which was held to discuss issue of Balochistan.

Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, who recently co-authored an article with Congressman Louie Gohmert, said Balochistan is an insurgency hit area.

Dana Rohrabacher further said that human rights violation is also there in Balochistan. He said that this province has vital strategic importance.

The congressman also said Kashmiri people have also right to decide for their future.

Meanwhile, representative of Amnesty International said weapons being used by security forces are manufactured in the United States.
