Electricity shortfall decreases to 3600 MW but loadshedding continues
LAHORE: The electricity shortfall in the country has decreased to 3,600 MW, but despite the decrease unannounced loadshedding continues.

PEPCO is supplying KESC with 617 MW however Karachi is still facing power outages of eight to ten hours daily.

In other cities across Pakistan the situation is worse with loadshedding of up to 12 hours. In rural areas, residents are without power for 18 hours.

Several areas are without electricity every other hour while a water shortage has also been created.
