Fauzia Wahab’s funeral prayer offered

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Fauzia Wahab’s funeral took place at Sultan Masjid located in Defence, Karachi, who passed away on Sunday after being admitted in the hospital for three weeks, Geo News reported Monday.

She passed away the previous night due to a mishap during a gall bladder surgery in a local hospital. The veteran politician suffered from severe post-operative complications and survived three weeks while being admitted in the hospital, after the surgery.

Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Adviser on Internal Affairs Rehman Malik and other federal and provincial ministers also attended her funeral that was held after Zuhr prayers at Sultan Masjid, defence.
