7 security men abducted

KOHAT: At least seven security personnel have been abducted from the near Punjab-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border, Geo News reported Wednesday.

Sources said that the security officials were heading back to Bannu to their duty place from Rawalpindi after spending holidays in their hometowns in a passenger bus when unknown armed men abducted them.

The sources said that the security officials were kidnapped after being identified.


The incident took place a couple of days after Taliban dumped bodies of 21 soldiers after kidnapping them from a check-post in FR Peshawar area.
