Twelve killed in fresh incidents of violence in Karachi
KARACHI: Violence in the metropolis has claimed at least 12 lives including that of a doctor on Thursday despite the deployment of additional police and Rangers.

Police said a man, identified as Amjadur Rehman, was shot dead in the Gulbahar area of Karachi, while he was present in a shop. While security forces were busy investigating this murder, gunmen opened fire in the same area and killed Waseem Siddiqui, 45. He was shot dead at Liaquat Chowk.

Police found two bodies in gunny bags from Garden area. They were identified as Mola Bux and Bilal. The bodies were shifted to CHK.
Body of an unidentified man was also found from Sohrab Goth area.

Police said a 27-year-old man identified as Asim was killed in firing in Old Haji camp. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital.
Dr Abid Mirza also lost his life when unknown gunmen fired at a clinic in the North Nazimabad area near Usmani Mosque.

Two people including a police officer were killed in two separate incidents of firing in Baldia Town. One more person was killed in an incident of firing at a hotel on Hawksbay road, while another was killed in Malir’s Saudabad area.

Meanwhile, three suspects including a police personnel were arrested in search operation by the police in Clifton Block-9.
