Nawaz sees conspiracy to delay election
SUKKUR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif on Friday said ‘some forces’ were trying to delay general election through putting demands, in an obvious reference to Tahirul Qadri and PTI chief Imran Khan.

Speaking to media at the airport on his arrival, the former prime minister said that he was bracing for a ‘third’ force after Imran Khan and Qadri.

Nawaz added that consultations were underway with different political parties over the caretaker prime minister.

He blamed incumbent rulers for unrest in Karachi and lamented that the Supreme Court had to take action into Shahzeb murder after Sindh government apathy into the cold-blooded murder of the Karachi youth.

Mr Sharif also condemned out of turn promotions of 156 police officers in Sindh. Answering a question regarding lifting governor’s rule in Balochistan, he said that situation was not clear yet.

When asked about reports about President Asif Ali Zardari planning to meet him, he said he was not informed of any such visit.
