Kidnapped engineer killed in Lahore

LAHORE: A dead body of kidnapped engineer of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) was found from Nullah in Lahore while police have arrested a woman among three accused, Geo News reported on Thursday.

District Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ather Farooqi said that a woman among three accused have been arrested for their alleged involvement in kidnapping and killing of the OGDCL engineer.

The police said that the accused have also confessed their crime.

Engineer of OGDCL was kidnapped few days ago while no ransom was demanded, however, the kidnappers were kept using the credit card of the kidnapped engineer.

All three accused were arrested on suspicion of their involvement in the case following the investigation.

Police told that accused have confessed during interrogation that they killed engineer, while engineer's body was recovered after it.
