JAC meeting with Shahbaz Sharif underway in Lahore

LAHORE: Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) Joint Action Committee (JAC) members are holding meeting with Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore today.

JAC Chairman Sohail Baloch armed with a long list of demands is going to apprise the Punjab CM regarding PIA employee’s reservations over the national carrier’s privatization.

Meanwhile sources add that Shahbaz Sharif will take the JAC team into confidence over the airlines privatization and partnership.

Flight Operations are Go

The JAC chairman on Tuesday evening announced the end of their two-week long strike and issued directives to the airline authorities to resume flight operations.

Addressing a press conference Baloch said, that JAC cannot remain negligent to the safety of the planes adding that the government has also expressed its concerns regarding hardships being faced by passengers.
