Gen. Raheel inaugurates Central Trade Corridor in SWA

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Sunday inaugurated Central Trade Corridor in South Waziristan, Geo News reported.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), this corridor will be the key land route between Pakistan and Afghanistan and will be helpful in the trade.

This trade route will also boost economy of FATA and South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Speaking on the occasion, the army chief said operation Zarb-e-Azb was continuing as per plan.

General Raheel Sharif vowed to bring peace in the affected areas and also announced to continue rehabilitation work.
