Passengers brawl with PIA staffers at London airport

LONDON: A brawl took place between passengers and the staffers of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) at Heathrow Airport as flight PK-758 could not fly for Lahore even after three days, Geo news report.

According to the report, the angry passengers occupied the booking/admin counter of PIA and started fighting with the staffers.

Police was called to handle the situation.

Meanwhile, PIA spokesman said that the flight was cancelled due to some technical glitches. He said that engineers were not available due to the Christmas holidays.

The spokesman expressed hope that the Lahore-bound flight would leave on Thursday night.
