KARACHI: Inspector General of Sindh Police, Ghulam Haider Jamali on Saturday said the Local Government elections were largely held in a peaceful atmosphere in the metropolis.
Talking to media persons here, the IG Sindh said he himself undertook visits of the areas which remained tense.
Ghulam Haider Jamali said efforts are underway to normalize situation wherever there is tension.
He said contesting elections and securing votes is everyone’s right.
