LAHORE: A major crackdown against terrorists and criminal elements in Southern Punjab is in the offing. In light of the rising crime in the province the government has decided to launch a counter terrorism operation in the province.
According to sources, the operation will be carried out by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Elite Force, help will also be taken from Rangers.
If needed, the assistance of the Pakistan Army may also be utilized.
