Imran Khan claims terrorism down in KP by 87pc

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan on Wednesday claimed terrorism in the PTI ruled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces was down by 87 percent over the last one year. 

Speaking to journalists in Garden Town after his arrival in Lahore, Imran Khan said PTI will have no other option but to come out on streets in protest if justice was done in NA-122.

He asked as to how and where 21,000 votes came from, adding, demand for justice and staging a peaceful protest are rights of every citizen.

“N-League resorts to rigging because it can’t resist the temptation of money in power,” he snapped.

Imran Khan said he had to struggle hard for getting justice while Jehangir Tareen had to spend millions of rupees.

“We will come back on the streets if Election Commission failed to dispense justice to Aleem Khan,’ he warned.

Commenting on Bacha Khan University attack in Charsadda, he said a renewed resolve against terrorism was witnessed when security guards and two teachers tried to resist the terrorists’ attack.

“Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has witnessed 87 percent decline in terrorist attacks,” he claimed.
