LAHORE: Shahbaz Taseer, having returned after spending four and half years in captivity is back on social media. The son of slain former Punjab governor Salman Taseer posted his first tweet after being reunited with his family.

Expressing pleasure over his return, Taseer tweeted that it was “Fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free - good to be back".
Hist last post on the micro-blogging site that his late father was also fond of using, was in August 2011.
Shahbaz Taseer returned home safely after four years, six months and 12 days (1,652 days in all) in captivity.
He was abducted as he drove to his office in locality, Lahore on August 26, 2011 or seven months and 22 days after his father Salman Taseer was killed by his own bodyguard Mumtaz Qadri in Islamabad on January 4, 2011.
