LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif on Monday rejected resignations of civil and additional district and sessions judges of Punjab.
According to a LHC press release, the CJ directed all judicial officers to fulfil their constitutional responsibilities and mitigate the suffering of litigants.
The chief justice also hoped that all judicial officers would keep working for dispensation of justice without any fear and favour.
Judges of sub-ordinate judiciary tendered resignations in protest against the attitude of lawyers and sending Sessions Judge Zawar Ahmad Sheikh on leave.
