Cricket legend Wasim Akram claims that the attack during a live show in Mumbai was not directed at him.
The incident that took place in Mumbai was not directed at me and has since been professionally dealt with. Thank you for all your concern.

Earlier, Wasim was heckled on live television by unknown men as he spoke about Indian batsman Kohli’s inning with Australia on an Indian news channel.
The video which stirred controversy on social media, shows Wasim talking on live television, when a few men, possibly from the camera crew, rudely interrupt him and block the screen. A visibly perturbed Wasim gets up from his seat, while the host who is at another station asks him if he is okay.
Vikrant Gupta the host of the show on AajTak later took to Twitter to clarify things at his end.
Friends no need to panic. Nothing wrong with @wasimakramlive - a few people just objected to the cameras there. That's it
