Gang war suspects among several arrested in Karachi

KARACHI: Police and intelligence agencies arrested two members of the Lyari gangs in a search operation conducted at Gul Muhammad Lane on Wednesday.

Nadir Dada and Mubeen Baloch aka Lamba were members of the Baba Ladla group, police said.

Sources said that Nadir Dada is brother of Commander Zakir Dada who was arrested in the Arshad Pappu murder case.

In a separate operation, law enforcement agencies arrested a private school teacher from Manzoor Colony. Sajid was involved in facilitating banned terrorist outfits, police said. He has been taken to an unknown location for further interrogation, police said.

In a late night operation at Ittehad Town police arrested three suspects and confiscated weapons and explosives from them. The suspects were involved in target killing, police said.
