RAW agent arrested from Thatta reveals he was asked to provide Karachi fisheries map

KARACHI: One of the two alleged RAW agents arrested from Thatta by the Counter Terrorism Department made startling revelations about the nature of their job, it emerged on Tuesday.

In a video confession available with Geo News, Saddam Hussain alias Machi said that he was initially called Agent 226 and then Agent 201.

He said that he was asked to provide a map of the Karachi fisheries and newspapers in Pakistan.

“When I contacted my bosses in India on the phone I had to speak in code words, such as, ‘Badey Maulvi Sahib is calling you’ and ‘Mitthai is ready, come to the wedding’,” he said.

He said every time he called India he was asked to just leave a missed call. Later his boss would call him back.

He said during his time in Thatta, he had met Narendar, Surendar, Arjan and Karan Singh through a boat he took to the sea.

Saddam was arrested with his accomplice Mohammad Bachal Solangi by the Counter Terrorism Department on Sunday.

Indian Navy Chief admits Yadav was their officer

Meanwhile, the Indian Navy Chief RK Dhovan finally accepted that Kulbushan Yadav, a RAW agent arrested last month from Balochistan was their navy officer.

In a message on a social media website he said that he did not remember much about Yadav except that he served the navy for some time.

Yadav, in a video confession available with Geo News had accepted that he was given the task to fuel militancy in Balochistan and sabotage the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
