MULTAN: It appears as if students at the Government High School Ponta go to school daily to serve their headmaster rather than to study.
The school is situated in the Shujabad district of Multan and has more than 500 students. According to the enraged parents of students, Headmaster Karim Bakhsh makes students clean the school premises and rarely teaches them.
Parents of students said that the school building is in dire condition. There is electric supply, they said, but no fans in the classrooms.
“Bakhsh makes children massage his hands and feet,” parents complained, adding that the rest of the school staff remained busy giving duties on the private land of the headmaster.
“The students are not allowed to sit on the school furniture and they are also punished if refuse to obey the headmaster.”
