Govt taking steps to provide medical facilities: CM KP
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti said on Sunday that the government was taking sincere steps for provision of treatment facilities to the people at their door-steps.

He expressed these views while talking to relatives of patients, hospital staff and local notables upon inauguration of new building of category-D hospital at Shahbaz Gharhi Mardan on Sunday.

MPA Ahmad Bahader Khan, Commissioner, DIG, DCO and district authorities of C&W and health were also present. Ijaz Ahmad Khan of C&W and EDHO Dr. Arshad Khan, briefed the chief minister of the up-gradation project of Rural Health Center, which has been completed within the stipulated period at the cost over Rs 120 million.

The chief minister expressed satisfaction and directed concerned authorities to take steps for the renovation of centre's old building.

The chief minister also examined various sections, wards and staff offices in the hospital. He inquired about the health of patients and expressed well wishes for their health.

He also inaugurated a high power transformer in 132 KV grid station in Garhi Kapora. SSO-II Wapda fazal ur Rahman informed the chief minister of capacity of the transformer.
