RAWALPINDI: At least 19 people were injured on Monday night when a fun-ride installed at the Urs (death anniversary) of Baba Masoom Shah in Kallar Syedan here fell down, rescue sources said.
Initial reports suggest that three critically injured have been shifted to a hospital in Rawalpindi.
The shrine is located very close to Rawalpindi Railway Station. It has been around for many years now. Due to a lack of space inside the shrine, those who visit the mausoleum sometimes have to stand outside on the main road while offering fateha.
