CTD guns down three terrorist from banned outfits in Karachi

KARACHI: At least three terrorists were gunned down on Friday during an operation by counter terrorism department.

An operation was conducted at Mehran Town, Korangi on intelligence reports, SSP Junaid Sheikh said.

CTD officials rounded a house and terrorists hiding inside opened fire at the police. Three terrorists identified as Umer, Alim and Ranjha were killed in the shootout which followed, police said.

The terrorists belonged to a banned terrorist outfit and were involved in target killing, robbery and street crime, police said.
