KARACHI: The Sindh Police claimed to have killed three alleged terrorists in a shootout in Sohrab Goth area of the city late on Thursday night.
Speaking to the media, SSP Malir Rao Anwar said the suspected terrorists were wanted for their involvement in different crimes.
Anwar said a raid was conducted in Sohrab Goth on a tip off regarding presence of the suspects and the three terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also seized in the raid, he added.
Identities of the suspects were yet to be known. The bodies were taken to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
