One security official martyred in Swat bomb blast

SWAT: At least one security official was martyred and five others injured when two bomb blasts struck Atror area on Friday.

Two back to back blasts occurred within an hour spreading fear and panic in the area, police said.

The first roadside bomb was targeted at Buner's district nazim Syed Salar, police said. He was injured along with his friends. The injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital.

The second blast occurred when security officers cordoned off the area. One security official was killed and two others were injured in the blast.

Security forces have sealed the area. A search operation in a nearby settlement is underway.
