Friends murder youth in debt in Karachi

Karachi: Youth killed by own friends in Karachi as he was unable to return the loaned money which was lost after being invested in Pakistan Stock Exchange, police said on Monday.

According to the police, the incident happened in Karachi’s Alfalah society when friends of the victim Farhan Ali entered his residence on Thursday night and wounded him with a sharp object.

The suspects tortured Farhan the entire night and fled the scene, taking valuables from the house along with them, said the victim’s family.

Farhan was taken to a hospital Friday morning but he succumbed to his wounds.

According to police, the suspect had alleged that Farhan had taken money from them which he invested in PSX. However, the money was lost therefore they killed him.

A case has been registered against the suspects and action is being taken to arrest them.

Farhan used to work in PSX and got married a year ago.
