75-year-old inspiring students in Swat

A man who spent his whole life to fulfill his thirst for education, research and culture, now wants to donate his collection of rare books to the Government of Pakistan.

75-year-old Muhaqiq Parvaish Shaheen from Manglore, Swat has over 20 books already published in Pushto, Urdu and English language. What is astonishing is that he has a collection of over 30 thousand rare books.

Apart from his rare book collection, Mr Shaheen has an archaeological museum at home where student from different universities come for their research.

Mr Shaheen said he is ready to donate his large book collection to the government because he wants students from different universities to take information from these books.

Parvaish Shaheen is not only an inspiration for Swat students but for all students who wants to research.

According to Mr Shaheen, progress is only possible through research and education.
