Toxic food kills two in Khuzdar

KHUZDAR: At least two people died and five others fell ill in Vadh District after they ate toxic food for dinner.

All seven people belonged to the same family. They are under treatment at the Khuzdar Civil Hospital.

Doctors said that the deaths were caused due to food poisoning.

In April this year 24 people died after consuming toxic sweet in Layyah during a birthday celebration. The accused confessed to have mixed pesticide in sweets after he had a fight with his elder brother who owned the sweet shop, police said.
