MULTAN: A judicial magistrate on Friday declared two brothers of Qandeel Baloch proclaimed offenders.

Police told the court that during investigation of in custody brother Waseem, it was found that her other brothers, Arif and Aslam Shaheen were also found involved in the murder.

Police said that they were asked to present themselves for investigation but they never showed up.

Arif is settled in Saudi Arabia while Aslam is a government servant.

Qandeel’s brother Waseem had admitted to strangling her to death for the 'honour of the family'. However, sources in Punjab Forensic Science Agency on Saturday revealed that the model had been strangled to death by her cousin Haq Nawaz instead of by her brother.

In July this year, Qandeel was killed allegedly by her brother in an apparent honour killing.

The murder took place when Qandeel was sleeping at her house in Muzaffabad, her parents said in a statement recorded to the police.

Qandeel shot to fame in Pakistan in 2014 after a video of her pouting at the camera and asking "How em looking?" went viral.
