KARACHI: Director General of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Major General Bilal Akbar on Monday said that August 22 violence was an organised act.

The DG Rangers Sindh visited Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where he spoke to media representatives, saying that investigations are going on related to the violence that took place on August 22.

MQM’s Labour Division acted as a facilitator in the attack, revealed DG Rangers Sindh.

MQM Labour Division members, working in two banks near Karachi Press Club, gathered boys from different areas of the city for the attack on media houses, said DG Rangers Akbar.

The MQM members from the Labour Division gathered boys in a bank for launching an attack on media, Bilal Akbar said.
