Sattar's SOS appeal for security at party's temporary HQ

KARACHI: MQM-Pakistan’s Dr. Farooq Sattar sent an SOS letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah requesting for security provisions at the party’s temporary head office set up at his residence in PIB colony, Karachi.

In his letter Sattar expresses “fear that extremists or terrorists can easily create an untoward situation” at the new location, where on the ‘instructions/directives of Pakistan Rangers” Sattar had removed security barriers restricting movement around his PIB residence, the letter adds.

The MQM-Pakistan leader highlights that the lack of security arrangements have left party leaders, members, workers and ordinary citizens, Sattar himself and his family vulnerable to “an attack by the terrorists” which could result in damage to life and property.
