PESHAWAR: An interactive theatre play titled 'Zimaydari' was held at the Nishter Hall in Peshawar on Wednesday shedding light on the effects of extremism and other social deviances on the youth.

The play discussed the roles played by parents, society, and state organisations in the nurturing and upbringing of children.

The play described further how these issues are caused by lack of attention towards children, and how they can be resolved if proper attention is provided by parents, society, and the government.

"There should be such projects and themes in schools and their syllabus so it discourages the young generation from going towards extremism. The responsibility falls on the parents, and as a whole on society and the state as well," said one participant.

Students of different universities took part in the interactive theatre.
