Education is the key to a successful future, but for children of Kot Beli in Bannu a proper school is only a dream.

Built in 1940 and badly damaged in the 1978 flood, the school remains in horrible condition. This is a school with no building, roof or even desks and tables for students to sit on.

Local communities time and again have requested higher authorities to re-establish or rebuild the school, but no action has been taken. Four decades on the school remain in same condition.

The state of the school has not deterred students from receiving an education with 230 attending the school.
