Changing hands can improve mobile phone signals

There might be a simple solution to this problem. A new study suggests that holding the phone in your other hand might increase signal strength.

According to Professor Gert Pedersen from Aalborg Univerity, phone have their antennas located where people usually place their hands.

Professor Pedersen is advocating antenna ratings for mobile phone so consumers can be better informed.

Until that happens, the professor says users should use a hands-free for the best possible signal.
