PML-N workers threaten to pelt Raiwand marchers with eggs

GUJRANWALA: Armed with eggs and tomatoes workers of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz took out a rally against rival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s expected Raiwand March.

Speaking at the rally president of the PML-N Hamza youth wing said, “We will welcome PTI workers with eggs and tomatoes when they march to Raiwand.”

Earlier, PML-N workers had established a forced armed with sticks to welcome PTI workers at Raiwand.

Tensions between the two parties have mounted in recent days as the PTI announced it will march to Prime Minister Nawaz Shari’s residence to protest his alleged offshore accounts named in the Panama Papers.

The prime minister is being pressured by the opposition to be accountable for the Panama Papers.
