Citizens embrace BDS officer who defuses bomb in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Citizens cheered a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS)officer who defused a bomb at the Bacha Khan Chowk.

The bomb laden with 3 kilograms of explosives had been placed in a utensil, police said.

After being informed by passers by the bomb disposal squad defused the bomb and arrested a suspect.

Peshawar has been attacked several times in the past by militants holed up in the city and its outskirts.
