KARACHI: The most yummilicious event of the year, the 'Chocolate party', took place on earlier this week in Karachi, bringing

In previous years, the event featured a theatre show in 2012 and a chocolate-inspired fashion show last year.

This year, the event brought a twist to the table, drawing inspiration from the art movement of Surrealism, centering around Salvador Dali, and extending this into its collaboration between chocolate, art, dance, and fashion.

According to the organizer, this year's 'chocolaty' event was designed to take attendees on their most surrealistic and indulgent journey throughout the night.

The event revealed an art gallery by renowned curator Sameera Raja, who worked with Irfan Hasan, Aamir Habib, and Maria Khan to bring the surrealism-inspired theme to life through their paintings, sculptures, and art installations.

A dramatic performance art was also prepared by Wahab Shah and his team, while actor-singer Ali Zafar also graced the party, going back to his original artistic roots as he drew for the event.

The fashion show featured master designers including Ali Xeeshan, Faraz Manan, Nilofer Shahid, and Shamaeel Ansari.
