KARACHI: Fourteen shops and six cabins were robbed in the city’s Urdu Bazaar, police said on Saturday.

A watchman had claimed that four or five robbers had entered the shops through the sewerage line. However, after being interrogated by police this claim was proven false.

The robbers took away Rs 54000, police said.

Earlier this month, unknown men broke locks of 24 shops at Tibet Centre and took away cash.
