ISLAMABAD: National Security Advisor Nasir Janjua briefed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the situation at the Line of Control (LoC).

The National Security Advisor presented the prime minister a detailed report over arrangements made to thwart an enemy attack.

The prime minister expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements made, sources said.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Nasir Janjua said that India in order to please its media and people had resorted to undignified moves.

Pakistan Army is fully capable of defending an attack on its territory, he said.

Two Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom when Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday morning, the ISPR confirmed. Pakistan dismissed Indian claims or 'surgical strikes' saying this was an illusion being deliberately generated by India to create false facts.
