LAHORE: Following the announcement of a deadline until Muharram by Imran Khan, the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) hit back at the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman, saying the ruling party would not bow down to his threats.

Speaking at a press conference shortly after Khan's address to the PTI rally in Raiwind, Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah said that the cricketer-turned-politician was "busy staging a drama" while Pakistan's enemy was ready to strike at the border and the blood of innocents was flowing in Kashmir.

"Imran Khan should be ashamed. He should apologise to the nation and wait for the 2018 general elections," Sanaullah told reporters in Lahore.

"Imran Khan, despite your antics, we are succeeding in the war against terrorism. Despite your actions, the China Pakistan Economic Corridor is progressing. You want to stop the war against terrorism. You want to halt work on CPEC. The entire will unite to stop Imran Khan," said Sanaullah.
