Domestic dispute claims woman's life in Multan

MULTAN: A man allegedly killed his wife over a domestic dispute in tehsil Jalalpur Pirwala of Multan district on Thursday, police said.

The incident took place in Mansoorpur area of tehsil Jalapur Pirwala, police said. The suspect, Abid, and his wife routinely quarreled on domestic issues.

They were married a year ago.

However, the suspect raged over one such argument today and allegedly opened fire at his wife, resulting in her death. He fled the scene shortly after the incident.

Officials said they were investigating the matter and raids were underway for the arrest of suspect.
