ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Senator Rehman Malik said on Friday he had reports of backdoor talks being held between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Malik further said it seemed there was some sort of agreement being reached between the government and PTI. “A plea-bargain is expected,” Malik said, adding that this would be a good step.

Earlier on Friday, PTI Chairman Imran Khan categorically stated that dialogue with the government prior to the November 02 sit-in would not be held. Imran added that dialogue could only be expected after the PTI arrived in Islamabad.
