Sindh Education Department enhances allocation for scholarships
KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has enhanced the allocation for scholarships to Rs 55 million from last year's Rs 30 million.

This was stated by the Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy, Pir Mazharul Haq.

He was speaking at a scholarship distribution ceremony here on Friday evening.

The University level students were given scholarship through Sindh Education Department's Endowment Fund.

The minister said on the occasion that the Sindh Education Department is striving for the promotion of primary as well as the university level education.

He stated that allocation for scholarships for talented and needy students has been enhanced to Rs. 55 million from Rs. 30million.

Pir Mazhar said that in future scholarships would also be given to the matric and intermediate students.
