Imran dragging Army to put weight behind campaign: Talal Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s leaders on Monday asked why Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders don’t respond regarding their own corruption.

PML-N leaders Talal Chaudhry and Mohammad Zubair were addressing a press conference in the capital.

“Imran Khan is dragging Army into his campaign to put weight behind his movement,” said Talal Chaudhry.

PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry said after the apex court took up the matter of Panama Leaks it seems pointless to protest.

In the guise of accountability, an attempt is being made to impair the system, he said.

The PML-N leader Imran wants to achieve goals they could not achieve in 2013.

He said that any kind of rebellion would be tolerated, although security would be provided in case of protest.

“Would you reach Islamabad with government vehicles and protocol?” asked the PML-N leader.

PML-N’s Mohammad Zubair asked why Imran Khan didn’t declare his offshore company.

“If the institutions of Pakistan are weak then those weaknesses should be overcome,” said Zubair.

He said that Chaudhry Nisar had offered Imran Khan to name an investigation officer of his choice, but he named a retired officer.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is all set to march to Islamabad on November 2 to protest over the Panama Leaks scandal.

A million people will march to the capital on November 2, PTI chairman Imran Khan vowed on Monday.
