ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Wednesday said that according to government legal experts there were technical issues with the Panama Leaks case; however Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has instructed not to raise objections on it.

Speaking in Geo News’ program ‘Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath’, the federal minister said that the government lawyers would not raise questions on the technicalities of the case, as it aims to seek clarity on the situation.

Rafique said that government lawyers believe that the court is taking on the petition which was discarded as frivolous before. However, Prime Minister has instructed them to not raise the objection during the hearing.

He claimed that the Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) would not carry the burden of Panama Leaks in the next general elections in 2018.
