Air Chief Sohail Aman visits headquarters of Italian Air Force

ROME: Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on Friday visited the headquarters of the Italian Air Force, where he was received by the Italian Air Chief Lieutenant General Enzo VECCIARELLI.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force is on an official visit to Italy on the special invitation of Italian. Upon his arrival at the headquarters, a freshly turned-out contingent of the Italian Air Force presented Guard of Honor to the Pakistan air chief, which followed a detailed briefing on the functioning of Italian Air Force.

Later on, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman held a bilateral meeting with Lieutenant General Enzo VECCIARELLI, Chief of Italian Air Force. The two air chiefs discussed matters of mutual interest at the meeting.

On the occasion, Air Chief Sohail Aman emphasized the importance of mutual training and conduct of operational exercises between the two air forces to benefit from each other experiences.

The chief of Italian Air Force agreed to enhance the cooperation in professional training and participation in mutual exercises.
